What information do I need to supply for the application?
We're excited that you're interested in applying! To complete your application, please provide some basic information like the number of guests, your first and last name, email address, phone number, country of residence, and estimated check-in time. You can also leave a message for your host if you'd like. Before making a payment, don’t forget to enter any discount codes you might have, and kindly agree to our terms and conditions and privacy policy. We look forward to welcoming you!
What criteria do you use to evaluate potential renters?
We evaluate potential renters based on their suitability for community living and their ability to comply with our house rules and booking terms. We look for guests who are respectful, considerate, and comfortable sharing space with others in a coliving environment. All residents must be at least 18 years old, provide valid identification, and have the legal right to stay in Portugal for the duration of their booking. We also expect guests to provide accurate booking information, respect quiet hours, shared spaces, and community guidelines, and complete payment in accordance with our booking policy.
Is it possible to arrive before the designated move-in time or stay past the move-out time?
Early arrivals and late departures may be possible, but they are always subject to availability and must be arranged with us in advance. As we need sufficient time to prepare rooms and shared spaces for incoming residents, we cannot guarantee check-in before the designated move-in time or check-out after the designated move-out time. We encourage residents to contact us ahead of their arrival or departure, and we will always do our best to accommodate their request. When an early check-in or late check-out is not possible, luggage storage or temporary use of shared spaces may be available depending on the situation.
Can I extend or shorten my stay?
Yes, extending or shortening a stay may be possible, depending on availability and the terms of the original booking. Residents who wish to modify their stay should contact us as early as possible so we can review the options. Stay extensions are subject to room availability and updated pricing at the time of the request. Shortening a stay may also be possible, but any refund will depend on the rate selected, the notice given, and the applicable cancellation policy. We always recommend reaching out in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate any changes whenever possible.
Do I need to sign a contract/lease?
No, you do not need to sign a separate long-term contract or lease. Your legally binding agreement is included in the terms of your stay with us, which allows for flexibility while ensuring a comfortable living environment.
