Will I have privacy?
Yes, for sure! Each room is private, having its own bathroom and kitchenette. If you booked alone, the room is only yours. If you booked with a friend, then you will share the space together.
Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately, but in our premises the lovely pets are not allowed to respect everyone's need and make sure the community members feel comfortable living here. We appreciate your understanding!
Can I split the rent with my partner or a friend?
While our invoicing policy issues invoices per room, you are welcome to share the costs however you like between yourselves when one of you pays in full.
Is there a designated space for work?
You will be able to use your personal space in the room, where you will find a table, chair, lamp and a shelf, as well as enjoy studying or working in our communal areas or designated study room.
What types of people will I be sharing the home with?
The community is the most important at SHED. We are welcoming people from more than 40 different countries of the world each year! You will meet new friends and buddies here, be sure of that! We are organising community events to make the friendships and partners long lasting and connected.
What information do I need to supply for the application?
During the booking process, you'll be asked for some basic information like your name, surname, contact details, and nationality. It's a straightforward process, and we look forward to welcoming you to our community!
What criteria do you use to evaluate potential renters?
We are happy to accept all the students and young professionals having 18 years old. No specific criteria required, but we expect you be nice to the staff and community living here. Also we value the responsibility of a resident.
Is it possible to arrive before the designated move-in time or stay past the move-out time?
We understand that plans can change! If you need to arrive early or stay late, please check with our team about availability (please request us at least 3 working days in advance). Extra fees may apply for additional nights.
Can I extend or shorten my stay?
We're happy to help you extend your stay if we have availability! If you need to shorten your stay, please note that the deposit will be forfeited, and the current month's invoice will need to be paid in full. Let us know how we can assist you!
Do I need to sign a contract/lease?
es, you will need to sign a contract to secure your room. Once you make a deposit payment, your room is reserved for you. We will be excited to welcome you upon your arrival and take care of all the necessary documentation together!
Do you accept co-signers?
Yes, we do accept co-signers! If you're planning to live with a roommate, please make sure to reserve a double occupancy room. Both of you will need to sign the agreement upon arrival.
Is there a Credit Score required?
Thank you for enquiring such a delicate question! No, we do not require a credit score, but we really appreciate if payments are made on time.
