The property is located right behind the village church, in the very center of this town of 2500. We are just on the edge of Ribeira Grande, the second-largest city on São Miguel, making it simple to explore the island's natural wonders. Discover stunning beaches, lighthouses, waterfalls, thermal baths, and volcanoes, all within close reach. Here, you can slow down and savor every moment while being part of a lively community.

We have some lovely outsider tables with outlets next to the river that people use when the weather is good. We also have a small workspace down stairs with a printer and video lights for zoom calls. 4 mesh Wifi stations provide good coverage around most of the villa.

We value your privacy! Each room is equipped with a lock and your personal code, ensuring you have a secure and private space to relax and unwind.

We welcome our residents to enjoy alcohol in moderation! While we recommend a maximum of two glasses per day, you might also consider the longevity system suggesting one day a week for consumption. We prioritize a healthy and lively community atmosphere!
Is it permissible to have visitors during the day/night?
Yes, you are welcome to have visitors during the day! However, please be mindful of our quiet hours from 10 PM to 6 AM, during which we ask that no guests are entertained.
Are all rooms furnished?
Yes, all our rooms are fully furnished! You'll find a cozy UK King-sized bed, a spacious wall unit for your belongings, a comfortable window bench, and even a chair. We also provide a towel warmer, ceiling fan, mirror, and a night lamp that doubles as an alarm and charging station, making your stay as comfortable as possible.
Are the private bedrooms cleaned frequently?
Yes, we clean all the bedrooms once a week to keep everything fresh and tidy. You can also use the 'please clean' sign whenever you want your room to be cleaned. Our cleaning staff is available on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, ensuring a comfortable living environment for everyone.
What are the laundry options?
We're happy to provide laundry options for our community! We have a large washer and two dryers available for use, and we also provide laundry detergent. If you prefer, there’s a drying line outside that’s perfect for drying swimwear. Enjoy your stay!
Is there a kitchen where I can cook my own food?
Yes, we have two kitchens! One is a cozy drink kitchen for coffee and tea, and the other is a spacious commercial kitchen with plenty of counter space and a dishwasher. We provide spices and condiments for your convenience, plus you can enjoy fresh fruits and vegetables from our lovely garden!
