The Maison on Jefferson House Maison means home, and whether you’re staying short-term or long-term, you’re certain to feel comfortable at the Maison Jefferson. Maisonette suites include private bathrooms, lounge areas, and wet bars with fridges. Everything is ready for you to move in, meet your community, and enjoy everything the city has to offer. Location The Maison on Jefferson is just a 10-minute walk to the Utica Av subway station, served by the A/C trains, 1–2 blocks from bus stops for the B15 and B26 buses, and just 2 blocks from the nearest CitiBike station. You can be in Manhattan in less than half an hour. The Neighborhood The Maison on Jefferson is located in Bed-Stuy, lined with historic brownstones, trees, creative shops, and restaurants. Bed-Stuy offers one of the city’s richest collections of gorgeous Victorian architecture while remaining a stronghold of local culture, with block parties happening throughout the long summer days. Restaurant and bar doors open as the sun sets: try cocktails at Dynaco, Nashville-style fried chicken at Peaches Hot House, and Neapolitan pizza at Saraghina. Sip on one of the 45 draft beers at Brooklyn Tap House, party at the club Lovers Rock, or catch an outdoor movie screening at one of Bed-Stuy’s green spaces.

Booking rules
- • Your safety and comfort are our top priorities! To ensure this, we ask all our new members to complete a background and credit check, as well as electronically sign a separate residency agreement. Just a heads up, you'll need to share your ID and Social Security Number (for those in the US) with us. We'll shoot over the agreement right after you book, and we kindly ask you to sign it quickly to guarantee your room. For your credit, we're looking for scores above 550
- • 650, depending on your city and we'll need a clean criminal record too (this doesn't apply to DC). If you meet all the requirements, you will receive a rental agreement, which you need to sign within 24 hours of receiving it.
