It is just a short walk to Japan's best-preserved Edo-era neighborhood, Imai-cho, and two stations with direct train access to Kyoto and Osaka. Also nearby is Japan's first capital, Asuka, which is within biking distance. This is a great base for exploration while remaining away from the tourist crowds.

Community fit
We are a Japanese-American couple who speak English, Japanese, and French. Both of us are part-time digital nomads, and we are happy to share tips about local spots and more. One of us works in the medical field, while the other works in the climate and environment space. We are also well-connected to the digital nomad communities in Osaka and Kyoto. We regularly host BBQs for our guests and are happy to show you around the neighborhood as well.
