The nearby train station makes it easy to arrive in Ravenna, travel around Emilia-Romagna, and visit other Italian cities during weekends. Local buses are also available to reach areas farther from the center, including the seaside and larger shopping areas.
What is there to do in the area?
Ravenna is a great base with plenty to do. Explore the UNESCO mosaics at the Basilica of San Vitale and the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia, visit museums and art galleries in the historic center, and stroll through lively cafés and local markets.
