This renovated building has the modern amenities you’ll need without losing the quaint touch of a historic Harlem walk-up, including wood floors and exposed brick walls. Location The Upper Manhattan House is a 5-minute walk from two 135 St subway stations, which are served by the 2, 3, A, B and C lines, giving you easy access to the entirety of Manhattan. The Neighborhood Take advantage of St. Nicholas Park’s close proximity on sunny days for some time in nature. For a night out on the town, the Apollo Theater is just a 14-minute walk away, as well as excellent dining options such as Syliva’s for soul food and Renaissance Harlem for New American cuisine. End the evening at Musette Wine Bar for tasty treats to accompany your drink.

Booking rules
- • Your safety and comfort are our top priorities! To ensure this, we ask all our new members to complete a background and credit check, as well as electronically sign a separate residency agreement. Just a heads up, you'll need to share your ID and Social Security Number (for those in the US) with us. We'll shoot over the agreement right after you book, and we kindly ask you to sign it quickly to guarantee your room. For your credit, we're looking for scores above 550
- • 650, depending on your city and we'll need a clean criminal record too (this doesn't apply to DC). If you meet all the requirements, you will receive a rental agreement, which you need to sign within 24 hours of receiving it.
