Among its perks are a spacious shared lounge, a fitness center, and a 30-minute commute to Manhattan. Location The closest subway station is Bedford-Nostrand, served by the G train and just a 5-minute walk away. Multiple bus lines also serve the neighborhood. You can reach the Lower East Side in 30 minutes and Midtown Manhattan in 45 minutes, or easily explore Downtown Brooklyn in 15 minutes. Neighborhood The Lafayette House is located in Bed-Stuy, a charming and central Brooklyn neighborhood with plenty of restaurants, cozy bars, and hip boutiques. Herbert Von King Park is just down the block, along with trendy coffee shops, and eclectic cuisine ranging from Cuban to Japanese.

Booking rules
- • Your safety and comfort are our top priorities! To ensure this, we ask all our new members to complete a background and credit check, as well as electronically sign a separate residency agreement. Just a heads up, you'll need to share your ID and Social Security Number (for those in the US) with us. We'll shoot over the agreement right after you book, and we kindly ask you to sign it quickly to guarantee your room. For your credit, we're looking for scores above 550
- • 650, depending on your city and we'll need a clean criminal record too (this doesn't apply to DC). If you meet all the requirements, you will receive a rental agreement, which you need to sign within 24 hours of receiving it.
