Olhão’s famous market is just minutes away, offering some of the best seafood and produce in Portugal. Many evenings turn into shared meals, often featuring dishes or cakes made by Sara’s mum, Margarida.

Faro Airport is only 25 minutes away, making arrivals simple whether you’re driving or cycling in. We’re close to the sea, with a quiet beach just 15 minutes on foot. The Ecovia Litoral cycling path runs nearby — perfect for cycling, walking, or simply enjoying nature. Along the way, you’ll see flamingo flocks and a wide variety of birdlife in the Ria Formosa. Olhão is a lively fishing town with a strong cultural heritage. Highlights include its world-famous market — one of the best places in Portugal to try fresh seafood and local produce — and ferries that take you to pristine islands such as Armona and Culatra.
